Lift Our Voices Announces Founding Sponsors
After major legislative #MeToo victory, organization sets sights on furthering workplace protections for all survivors
New York, NY – Lift Our Voices, the leading #MeToo advocacy organization founded by Gretchen Carlson and Julie Roginsky, today unveiled its Founding Sponsors, a list of major donors who have pledged financial support to advance the organization’s vision and mission.
“Whether it is educating individuals, organizations or legislators about the need to eradicate silencing mechanisms in the workplace or creating lasting change through advocacy and empowerment, our work would not be possible without the support of those who have believed in our mission from the very start,” said Gretchen Carlson, co-founder of Lift Our Voices.
Since its founding in 2019, Lift Our Voices has been instrumental in creating lasting change in American workplaces. It has engaged in major educational campaigns across corporate America, supported critical state laws to ban non-disclosure agreements for toxic workplace issues, and brought public attention to concealment clauses that harm American workers. Carlson was the lead advocate for the Ending Forced Arbitration of Sexual Assault and Sexual Harassment Act of 2021, which President Biden signed into law last month.
“All it takes is one person to make a world of difference in the lives of millions, and that is precisely what our Founding Sponsors have done by supporting our mission,” said Julie Roginsky, co-founder of Lift Our Voices. “We are incredibly grateful for their support in helping us protect survivors and strengthen workplaces across the nation.”

In the wake of this major victory, Carlson and Roginsky have announced that the organization will continue its advocacy efforts to eradicate the practice of using nondisclosure agreements (NDAs) to force survivors into silence over experiences of workplace abuse, toxicity or discrimination. Lift Our Voices is committed to ending workplace toxicity and the silencing mechanisms that enable it by preventing survivors from speaking out about sexual assault and sexual harassment, and discrimination based on race, gender, LGBTQIA+ identity, age, or other factors.
ABOUT LOV
Lift Our Voices (LOV) was launched in December 2019 to create positive, systemic change in American workplaces through the eradication of forced arbitration clauses and nondisclosure agreements for toxic workplace issues. Created and launched by Gretchen Carlson and Julie Roginsky, LOV’s mission is to protect American workers by giving those in toxic work environments the freedom to speak freely about their workplace experiences and free them from the laws and business practices that prevent employees from publicly discussing toxic workplace conditions.
