National Press Club Newsmaker, March 29: Gretchen Carlson & Julie Roginsky discuss the new landmark “Me Too” Bill

Gretchen Carlson, former Fox News journalist, and now a special contributor for PEOPLE TV, joins Julie Roginsky, co-founder of the non-profit, “Lift Our Voices" to discuss the recent landmark “#MeToo” bill that forbids companies from forcing sexual harassment and assault claims into arbitration. Carlson and Roginsky will discuss the recent bill, how it garnered support from both parties on the Hill, and how this legislation will now be a “model” for addressing forced arbitration for other claims.

They will also discuss their nonprofit that is dedicated “to creating positive and systemic change in the American workplace through the eradication of nondisclosure agreements for toxic work issues and mandatory arbitration clauses.”

This National Press Club Headliners event will be live in-person on Tuesday, March 29th at 10 a.m. to submit a question via email, put #METOO in the subject line and email to headliners@press.org.
