The Ending Forced Arbitration for Sexual Assault and Sexual Harassment Act (EFAA)
The EFAA is changing the game. It was championed by our co-founders Gretchen Carlson and Julie Roginsky, and passed by both houses of Congress with overwhelming bipartisan support. The critical legislation was signed it into law in March 2022 by President Biden.
How does the EFAA Work?
The EFAA eradicates forced arbitration in cases of sexual misconduct. That means the law gives survivors the power to take their claims to court instead of secret arbitration. Watch the videos below to learn more about this historic law and how it protects YOU.
The Speak Out Act
Thanks to the Speak Out Act, you are no longer bound by a pre-dispute NDA and/or non-disparagement agreement if you have experienced sexual harassment or assault at work.
President Biden signed the landmark legislation, championed by Lift Our Voices, in December 2022. This law gives voice to survivors, protects workers, and paves the way for a safer more transparent workplace. Watch the video to learn more and make sure to share the knowledge!
