As July heats up, we have some exciting news to share with you about our mission at Lift Our Voices.

ENDING FORCED ARBITRATION OF SEXUAL ASSAULT AND SEXUAL HARASSMENT ACT

Last Wednesday, Gretchen traveled to Washington to introduce the Ending Forced Arbitration of Sexual Assault and Sexual Harassment Act, landmark legislation to ban forced arbitration in cases of sexual misconduct. This bill prevents employers from using arbitration to silence workers who bring claims of sexual misconduct against their colleagues, which has so often resulted in organizations protecting predators at the expense of survivors. Ending forced arbitration for toxic work issues is a key mission at Lift Our Voices and we are immensely proud of the bipartisan group of legislators who are supporting our efforts. We are very optimistic about the future of this legislation and will continue to fight tirelessly to ensure that it becomes the law of the land.
